Just released a new website for Phil Peterson from Bayfield, seaman extraordinaire, who has been doing Marine Surveys and Boat Deliveries since the 1980's. You couldn't find a better person for the job! Learn more:
I've been working with Washburn Cultural Center in Washburn WI to update their current Wordpress website while we work on a totally new and more impressive website.
I've also been working on making the website more visible in online searches for all the things the WCC does! And I've been helping with other marketing as well.
I always include SEO and marketing when I do new websites.
I love to create new websites, but I am happy to work on a current website, while adding Search Engine Optimization and other marketing into the mix!
My beautiful and talented daughter recently opened her own dental practice in Glenview, IL, and I just created her website:
We worked on this website long-distance, communicating by email, text and phone, while my daughter watched requested updates appear on the website in test status, until we had it right. It was very easy for her to see pictures, fonts, text, color and design possibilities while we talked so we could get it right immediately!
It really is possible to create a website for someone who isn't in my local area.
I recently completed a website and online store for Harbor House Sweets in Washburn, WI.
Ginamarie is an accomplished and professionally trained chocolatier, pastry chef and baker. Be sure to stop by her shop when you get a chance — or order a tasty treat for yourself or your loved ones on her website. She also does wonderful special orders for your special events.
I recently completed a new website for Christ Episcopal Church in Bayfield WI, which now holds services all year long!
Christ Church traces its beginning to 1856 as the first settlers came to Bayfield expecting to build a great inland seaport. The church is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Simpler to navigate, especially on smart phones!
2017 update: The Historical Society decided to discontinue this website now that they have an events capability on the official MIM website. An acceptable decision since we created the Friends website before the official MIM website could display events well. I'm continuing to work for the museum, creating events for each season on the official MIM website, and then taking care of online events marketing online through area chambers.
I have just released the new website for Lake Superior Tall Ships, Inc. a local community organization with the mission:
- To teach youth seamanship, personal responsibility, teamwork and self esteem, while building skills in leadership and citizenship.
- To inspire all generations to be responsible stewards of Lake Superior.
- To promote awareness, appreciation and preservation of Lake Superior's marine communities and maritime heritage.
LSTS uses the schooner Abbey Road to teach seamanship skills to local youth, and they also work with local organizations, doing public and private sails from their slip at Pikes Bay Marina.
LSTS hopes to build a replica of the tall ship Alice Craig to use in their mission.
Please check out their website to see all they are doing, and volunteer to help if you can!
